Welcome to Willow Barn Teaching Retreat

We host a non-residential teaching retreat with the aim of creating a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment. Our heart is to provide a space where others can benefit from the valuable resources that have greatly helped our own relationship. The courses we offer are based on Christian values, but you don't need to be a Christian to benefit from them. They combine years of experience, behavioural insight, and Biblical teaching, in a thoughtful and practical way. 

While we have much experience hosting these courses, to be clear, we are not professional marriage counsellors! Rather, we are a married couple who have found strength in our faith and have sought guidance from relationship experts when needed. 

Just as you would have regular maintenance for your car, we believe it should be normal to invest in and seek help for your marriage and family relationships. You don't have to wait until problems are overwhelming to work on them.  While we cannot provide professional advice on serious relationship issues, we can recommend professionals who specialise in those areas.
